Services and Payment

CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS offers customized photo and film services in agreement with the Client. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, either signed electronically or in person by all parties. Atleast a ¼ of the total agreed amount is to be paid for reservation. The ¼ of payment is non-refundable. Total amount is to be made in full before the actual day of the event. An extra fee for transport and accommodation ought to be expected by the Client for destination events or bookings outside of Akershus and Oslo, unless otherwise agreed.

 

All our wedding packages Standard and Deluxe Collection include 12 hours full coverage of your wedding day starting from bride and groom  prep, ceremony, portraits,  to reception. No refund or discount will be made should you choose to not take advantage of the full coverage. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will take contact with you a week or days before the event to ensure that there have been no last-minute changes to the prior agreed plans. 

 

In any case of emergencies beyond The Client’s control such as family death, adverse weather, or serious illness, CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will try to change the date, but availability cannot be guaranteed. Emergencies that require CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS to cancel, CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will make every effort to secure a reputable replacement. If a suitable replacement is not found, the CLIENT agrees that CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will refund all payments to the CLIENT (s).

 

The Client (s)

In case the client or family/members want to bring an extra photographer at the event, Cummings-Budude Studios must be notified in advance at least one week ahead of the event and agreed upon by all parties. If the clients fails to do so, we reserve the right to take necessary action or leave the event immediately. In such cases no payment will be refunded. 

 

CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS recommends that the CLIENT reveals to the photo-videographer(s) important guests they wish taken photo or filmed. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will not be held accountable or liable for not taking photos or filming desired guests if there is no one to assist in identifying and gathering people. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS is not responsible or liable if key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during filming, or for missed visuals due to details not revealed to CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS or beyond the photo-videographer(s) control. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS recommends also that the Client identify individuals who wish not to be taken photo or filmed during the event. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will not be held accountable or liable if these individuals appear in photos or film.

 

The Client agrees and understands that event location may affect the photo-videographers work. We recommend to all our clients to seek guidance in advance. It is the Client responsibility to obtain any permits for the photo-videographer.

 

CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS owns the copyright of all the photos / film according to the Norwegian law of photography (norsk åndsverklov). The Client has the right to use the photos in privacy, not commercial right.  Therefore, the Client is required to credit CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS by tagging Photo: CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS or @cummingsbududestudios when using any of the photos on any of their social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, blog etc.). 

 

The Client cannot use the photos for commercial purposes, sell or share with wedding magazine, newspapers, or any other publications without consulting CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS for permission. The Client will be charged with a fee of kr 2000, - per photo if this agreement were to be broken.

 

If the Photo-Videographer is repeatedly exposed to unsafe working conditions or offensive behavior, or misconduct (by any of the guests at the event), including but not limited to violence, verbal or physical harassment, the Photo-videographer has the right to take necessary action or ask the Client to remove the person (s) causing discomfort. If the situation is not resolved, the Photo-videographer has the right to leave the event. In such cases, the Photo-videographer is not obliged to refund payment to the Client, and outstanding payment will be invoiced.

 

Photo-videographer (s) at CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS take a break during refreshment at the reception. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS cannot guarantee that any activities during this period, such us speeches will be captured. 

 

Delivery 

The Client agrees and understands that final products (photos/film) have been edited and there is no need for them to be re-edited. If you want to re -edit, kindly reach out to us and CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will assist you. The Client agrees and understands that CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will share a few photos, and film highlights of 5-30 minutes, on its social media platforms (Instagram page, website, YouTube channel etc.) for promotion purposes. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will take an extra fee for any exceptions from this.

 

Delivery of photos/film can be expected normally within a timeframe of 0-8 weeks. Standard package is delivered through a personalized online gallery. The gallery is exclusively and accessible by the Client only. You can share the gallery with family and friends simply by giving them access yourself. With Deluxe Collection you will receive a beautiful wedding Album, hard drive, USB with all edited photos and film delivered to your home address. CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS will not be held accountable for any loss of photos or film  after delivery. In case you suffer a loss of photos or film kindly reach back to us and we will try to find a solution together if possible.

 

CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS 

CUMMINGS-BUDUDE STUDIOS promises to fulfil its obligation to the Client (s). The Client agrees and understands the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.
